Davin Roberts
President
Davin is a junior Visual Media Arts major with a concentration in television production. He is very excited to begin his second year with NBS as president. Davin is thrilled to lead an organization with such a profound commitment to education. His goal this year is to highlight the immeasurable creativity and adaptability that Emerson students possess and use that to assist in cultivating new media makers. Davin will be spending his time this year leading NBS, as well as, the 40th annual EVVY awards where he is the Technical Executive Producer.
Jonah Higaonna
Vice President
Jonah Higaonna is a junior Visual Media Arts major with concentrations in Producing and Photography. When working on the fall narrative his freshman year, Jonah was impressed with the community of kindness, respect, and learning exhibited by NBS. Now having joined NBS as vice president, Jonah’s goal is to do the same for incoming freshmen and be a figure that supports others to grow! On campus, Jonah is also the Treasurer of DKA, a Piano Row RA, and is involved in the EVVYs.
Eitan Miller
Equipment Manager
Eitan Miller is a junior BFA Media Arts Production student concentrating in cinematography and directing, and is thrilled to be the equipment manager of NBS this year. His goal is to make equipment accessible for anyone looking for it, and provide opportunities for people to learn how to use professional equipment. Outside of NBS, Eitan works regularly on film sets, music directs his acapella group Achoired Taste, and hopes to continue working as a concert photographer/videographer once live concerts can resume.
Ava Straccia
Treasurer
Ava Straccia is a sophomore Media Arts Production major, and the Treasurer for NBS. This is her first year with NBS and is so excited to share her humor and passion with the group while also being the best National Broadcast Society Treasurer this town’s ever seen. Ava joined NBS to learn more about filmmaking, grow with her team, and produce some stellar content. Besides NBS, Ava is a part of the EVVY creative team and also works on the Emerson Channel. When she’s not working on a project, you can find Ava grabbing a bite to eat with friends (at the DH of course).
Alexandra Dudley
Marketing Coordinator
Alexandra Dudley is a junior Media Arts Production major with a concentration in producing and a double minor in music and hearing and deafness. New to NBS her goal is to make NBS accessible in the midst of the pandemic and organize their various platforms. As a member of NBS, EIV, EBONI, Vice President of Flawless Brown, and Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority her goal this year is to remember to relax with her friends and enjoy everything that has yet to come!
Hannah Cremins
Marketing Coordinator
Hannah is going into her senior year, but only second year as an Emersonian. She is a VMA Production Major and has been very involved in the studio since coming to Boston. Hannah produces shows with both The Emerson Channel and EIV. She will be taking on the marketing aspect of NBS this semester and is excited to foster a welcoming image for NBS, as well as to show new students the magic of broadcast!
Jessica Niazian
Music Coordinator
Jessica Niazian is a junior studying Media Arts Production and is the Music Coordinator for NBS! She joined NBS' mission of educating students on Film and Television production. She plans on bringing new ideas and genres to Musicians Wanted and is excited for you all to see what is to come! She is also involved with the Campus Center, WERS, Students Supporting Survivors (S3), and EmChannel.
Allison Duggan
Operations Assistant
Allison Duggan is a sophomore Media Arts Production major with a minor in Business Studies. She is so excited to be the Operations Assistant for NBS this year, get more experience with film, and build relationships with people that have the same interests as her. She is also a part of the Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority, a writer for Her Campus, and on the marketing team for YourMag. When she’s not in class, you can catch her hanging out in the DH with friends or listening to music while doing homework in the library!
